NORVI Controllers is a Sri Lankan electronics design and manufacturing company that exports industrial IoT hardware to Europe and North America. Our products are CE/EMC/RED certified and used in real industrial automation projects worldwide. We have been shipping internationally since 2014.
The Role
We are looking for a Production Operations Assistant to support production planning and keep our production data accurate. You will work on the production floor and in our production management system, making sure every batch, task, and status is recorded correctly and on time — and investigating whenever it is not.
This is a role for someone methodical and persistent who is comfortable walking the floor, asking questions, and chasing things down until the record matches reality.
What You Will Do
- Monitor daily production records in the company's production management system and ensure every batch and task is updated on time
- Follow up with production staff on missing or incorrect updates and get them corrected the same day
- Investigate discrepancies — where the system and the floor disagree, find out why and report the root cause
- Identify where information is not flowing correctly between production stages and flag it to the Operations Executive
- Support production planning and scheduling with accurate, up-to-date data
- Maintain clean, reliable production data — remove duplicates, correct errors, close out completed items
- Prepare simple daily and weekly production status summaries
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma in Operations, Industrial Management, Business, or a related field
- Good computer literacy — comfortable working in data systems and spreadsheets all day
- Methodical and detail-focused — you notice when numbers do not add up
- Persistent and comfortable following up with people until a task is closed
- Good English literacy — able to read and write English for documentation; Sinhala for floor communication
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, production planning, or data coordination role is an advantage

Location
Our facility is in Midigama, Weligama, Southern Province. This is a full-time, on-site role. Candidates based in the Galle–Matara corridor are strongly preferred.
