Production Supervisor

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, achieve production targets, manage workforce efficiency and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety and productivity in one of Sri Lanka's leading food manufacturing companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily production plans and targets are achieved efficiently and on schedule.
- Supervise and coordinate production team to achieve productivity maintaining the product quality.
- Manage workforce performance, discipline, attendance and operational efficiency.
- Identify production issues and implement effective problem-solving solutions.
- Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality and company standards.
- Work effectively under pressure while meeting production deadlines.
- Support and manage extended working hours and shift operations when required.
- Conduct training and coaching programs for workers to improve skills, productivity, and safety awareness.
- Maintain accurate production records and report operational performance to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Agriculture, Food Technology, Food Science or a related field. (NVQ 4/5)
- Minimum experience in poultry/chicken processing operations or an equivalent manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, quality standards and production processes.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
