The Role
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and results-driven Social Media Executive to manage our social media presence and develop engaging content that strengthens our brand, increases audience engagement, and supports our marketing objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, monitoring trends, interacting with audiences, and supporting digital marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Peace Lily and True Foam social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Create engaging platform-first content, including posts, captions, Reels, Stories, short-form videos, and simple scripts.
- Regularly film products, people, factory processes, and relevant sourcing or farm stories, directing participants when required.
- Edit short-form content using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe tools, or similar, and maintain an organised content calendar and content bank.
- Monitor social media trends and identify relevant opportunities to improve engagement, reach, and brand awareness.
- Manage comments and messages in a timely, professional manner, and route product, order, or customer-service enquiries to the relevant team.
- Coordinate with internal teams and designers to support product launches, brand campaigns, educational content, and UGC or creator initiatives.
- Monitor social media performance and prepare regular reports with clear insights on what is working, what should improve, and what to test next.
- Stay updated on emerging social media formats, tools, platform changes, and best practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or a similar role.
- A portfolio or links to social media content you have created must be included with your application.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms, current digital trends, and platform best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear captions, hooks, and simple scripts.
- Creative mindset, good visual judgement, and strong attention to detail.
- Confidence filming and directing people, products, and processes, with good basic photo and video composition skills.
- Ability to edit short-form content using CapCut, Canva, Adobe tools, or similar content-creation software.
- Good analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to learn from content performance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
