Sevana Ella is a high-end forest-cabana retreat with a 32-seat restaurant, set on the Nine Arches Bridge trail in Ella. We’re looking for a talented chef to lead our kitchen.

5+ YEARS’ EXPERIENCE • LEADING THE KITCHEN
A hands-on leadership role owning the kitchen end to end — menu, costs, standards and team — in a 32-seat restaurant with a fusion Sri Lankan–Western menu.
The Role
- Execute and streamline our fusion Sri Lankan–Western menu
- Run the kitchen day to day — prep, service, hygiene and food safety
- Control food cost, portioning, stock and supplier relationships
- Recruit, train and lead the kitchen team
What you bring
- 5+ years in professional kitchens, including time as Head or Sous Chef
- Menu development and plating in a high-end or boutique setting
- A firm grip on food costing, GP and kitchen discipline
- A good command of both English and Sinhala
