BARMAN/ BARTENDER – 98 Acres Resort & Spa - Ella
We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and customer-focused Bartender / Barman to join our Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting bar operations, and maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
- Ensure beverage quality, consistency, and presentation meet company expectations.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and attentive service to create memorable guest experiences.
- Promote premium beverages, special offers, and menu recommendations to support sales and revenue growth.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully operational bar area throughout service.
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures and support overall bar operations.
- Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies, and assist with inventory control activities. Minimize wastage and report stock discrepancies or shortages.
- Follow all hygiene, sanitation, food safety, and quality assurance standards.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2 – 3 years of experience as a Bartender, Barman, or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service techniques.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of inventory handling and cash management is an advantage.
