Ethimale Plantations (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Executive – Internal Audit to join our team, supporting our commitment to quality and compliance across our operations.
Job Profile
- Assist in planning and conducting internal audit assignments in line with the approved audit plan.
- Perform audit procedures, including compliance checks, process reviews and internal control testing.
- Review operational processes, financial records and internal controls to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare audit working papers and assist in preparing audit reports.
- Follow up on audit findings and agreed corrective actions with relevant departments.
- Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable standards.
- Support risk assessment activities and recommend improvements to operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate with relevant departments while maintaining audit independence and confidentiality.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management as required.
Person Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Internal Audit or a related audit function.
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka (CASL), CIMA, ACCA, CMA, CIA or an equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of internal audit procedures, risk assessment and internal controls.
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Google Workspace tools.
- Good communication skills in Sinhala and English.
- Experience in agriculture, plantation operations or a related industry will be an added advantage.
