Alumatek Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is a leading aluminium fabrication and installation company specializing in aluminium doors, windows, glazing, curtain wall systems, shopfronts, cladding and architectural façade solutions.
As we expand our project operations across Sri Lanka, we are looking for skilled and motivated professionals to join our growing team.
VACANCIES AVAILABLE
01 QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare detailed estimates and material take-offs for aluminium and glazing works.
- Calculate quantities for profiles, accessories, glass, hardware and related materials.
- Prepare project budgets, cost breakdowns, quotations and variations.
- Handle progress billing and support project cost control.
- Review architectural and technical drawings to ensure accurate quantities and pricing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution.
- 2-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
- Good knowledge of Excel and cost spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Experience in aluminium fabrication, structural glazing, cladding, curtain walls or façade engineering will be an advantage.
02 DRAUGHTSMAN
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare accurate shop drawings and detailed fabrication drawings.
- Develop aluminium joinery details and production drawings.
- Prepare cutting and fabrication details based on approved drawings.
- Coordinate drawings with project, production and installation teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with project requirements and site conditions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate or Diploma in Draftsmanship from a recognized technical institute.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in shop drawings, architectural detailing or structural detailing.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Good understanding of aluminium doors, windows, shopfronts and related systems.
- Knowledge of curtain wall, structural glazing, façade or aluminium fabrication detailing will be an advantage.
