ACCOUNTANT - NEW PROJECTS
The company, in its present expansion programmes, is looking for team-spirted, result-oriented individuals with passion and dynamism to fill the following vacancy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Project Management, or a related field from a recognized university
- A professionally recognized accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in project-based operations
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, internal controls, MS Excel, and ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain accounting procedures and financial controls for the new project
- Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and expenditure plans
- Maintain accurate and timely accounting records for all project-related transactions
- Provide financial guidance and insights to project teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities relating to new projects
