ABOUT KPP GROUP

KPP Group is a leading flat glass import and distribution company in Sri Lanka. We operate a vehicle fleet consisting of 16 lorries and other company vehicles. We are looking for an experienced and responsible professional to oversee the maintenance, servicing, repairs and overall operational readiness of the company fleet.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Vehicle Maintenance / Fleet Maintenance / a similar supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
- Experience coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance with mechanics, garages, and external service providers
- Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and responsible approach to work
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills
- Ability to respond effectively to vehicle breakdowns and emergency repairs
- Handle urgent vehicle breakdowns and maintenance requirements
- Report major maintenance issues and recommendations to management
- Age below 45 years
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance of the company fleet
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules
- Coordinate servicing, repairs, inspections and breakdown recovery
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in safe and roadworthy condition
- Coordinate with mechanics, workshops, suppliers and service providers
- Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Monitor repair quality, costs and completion timelines
- Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Identify recurring mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions
- Minimize vehicle downtime and ensure fleet availability for daily operations
- Handle urgent vehicle breakdowns and maintenance requirements
- Experience handling a commercial vehicle / lorry fleet will be highly advantageous
WORKING HOURS
- Monday – Friday 8.30 AM – 5.30 PM
- Saturday 8.30 AM – 2.00 PM
