Job Overview
Nature Ceylon, a leading tea export company, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance and accounting functions. The role oversees financial reporting, cash flow, budgeting and compliance while supporting business decisions and developing the Finance & Accounts team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee finance operations, management accounts and monthly and annual financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, budgets and financial forecasts.
- Handle banking facilities, Letters of Credit, foreign currency transactions and trade finance.
- Ensure timely statutory payments and compliance with applicable Sri Lankan accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and financial institutions.
- Strengthen internal controls, provide financial analysis and lead the Finance & Accounts team.
Requirements
- Fully qualified in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in trading, exports, FMCG or the tea industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting, taxation and audit.
- Experience in export finance, foreign currency transactions and banking facilities is highly advantageous.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines independently.
