ACCOUNTS CASHIER
J.N. INTERIORS is a leading interior designing and civil construction company which has earned its reputation for interior designing in Sri Lanka since 1998.
As part of our expansion, we have established a new furniture factory in Bandaragama, equipped with advanced machinery and the latest manufacturing technologies. We are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Accounts Cashier to manage daily cash transactions and provide accounting support for our factory operations at Bandaragama.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process cash, cheque, and electronic payments.
- Prepare daily cash summaries and reconcile cash balances.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with accounts receivable and payable activities.
- Prepare bank deposits and support bank reconciliations.
- Issue receipts, process petty cash transactions, and maintain cash records.
- Assist with monthly financial reports and audits.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cashiering or accounting.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and cash handling procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numerical accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
