KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the overall Recovery & Bank Loans function.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve recovery performance and minimize overdue receivables.
- Oversee bank loan-related operations, documentation, coordination, and follow-ups.
- Monitor outstanding portfolios and ensure timely recovery actions.
- Establish effective recovery controls, processes, and performance monitoring mechanisms.
- Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, customers, legal teams, Finance, Sales and other internal departments.
- Review recovery performance and provide regular management reports and recommendations.
- Lead, coach and develop the Recovery & Bank Loans team.
- Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and approved procedures.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Recovery / Debt Recovery operations.
- Strong professional background in Banking and Financial Services.
- More than 10 years of overall leadership/management experience.
- A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Management, Accounting or a related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- Experience in managing large recovery portfolios and recovery teams will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work with demanding targets and deliver measurable recovery results.
