The Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Responsibilities
- Site visits, Quantity take-off, Rate breakdowns, BOQ preparation, and Drawing review.
- Rate negotiation, Handling agreements with clients and suppliers.
- Tender and bid document preparation, pre-bid meetings
- Progress bills, monthly claims, and subcontractor payments
- Estimates, budgets, cost monitoring aligned to project process
- Client management, correspondence, and handling variations
- Project cost control, commercial support
Requirements
- NDT / HNDE / HND / NCT / NVQ 06 or equivalent in QS
- Age below 35 years
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to coordinate projects and manage documentation
- Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and PR skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD, MS project, email, spreadsheets)
- 1 Year proven experience and ability to work independently
