TRAINEE CASHIER (DAY/NIGHT SHIFT) - MALE CANDIDATES ONLY
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn to process cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately, under supervision
- Assist in scanning or manually entering items and issuing receipts
- Learn to count and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, with guidance from a senior cashier or supervisor
- Observe and assist with returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy
- Help keep the checkout counter, bags, and receipt supplies stocked and tidy
- Learn to identify and report suspicious transactions or potential theft
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of daily sales and reporting discrepancies
- Assist with light stock replenishment or pricing checks when needed
- Complete on-the-job training and probation requirements within the designated training period
Requirements:
- Minimum O/L qualification (A/L preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Honesty, attention to detail, and ability to handle cash responsibly
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends
