TECHNICIAN – BUILDING SERVICES

THE JOB
- Carry out planned preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical, air-conditioning, generator, fire protection, plumbing, and other allied building services systems.
- Attend to faults and breakdowns promptly to ensure uninterrupted building services.
- Monitor systems, record readings, and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
- Assist and support external service providers and contractors under the direction of the relevant supervisor.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain plant rooms and work areas in good order.
THE PERSON
- NVQ Level 3/4 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning, or a related Building Services trade.
- Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in building or facilities maintenance. Experience in a commercial high-rise environment will be an advantage.
- Sound working knowledge of MEP/building services systems and safe maintenance practices.
- Willingness to work on a roster, including weekends, and be on-call/standby for emergencies.
- Physically fit and able to work in plant rooms and at heights.
