TEA FACTORY OFFICER: BULUTHOTA
A well diversified conglomerate, headquartered in Sri Lanka, with business presence ranging from Renewable Energy, Leisure, Tea, Investment Management and Advisory Services is scouting for a Tea Factory Officer for our tea factory in Buluthota. We are expanding rapidly and extensively and seeking a candidate who can match our speed, contribute significantly, and gain valuable experience and exposure.
The Tea Factory Officer will be responsible for high quality tea manufacturing. Should overlook overall manufacturing process, energy management in the factory, machinery maintenance, responsible for obtaining the relevant certifications, tea tasting, productivity improvement, employee relations, inventory control and management, record keeping, implementing cost controlling measures, should work on value addition and have a good understanding of the marketing requirements of made tea.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5-10 years of proven experience in reputable Low and Mid-Grown tea factories.
- Requires very strong Work Ethics, Passionate, Strong Leadership, Organizational skills and a deep understanding of tea manufacturing practices
- Fluent in Sinhala and English, with functional conversational ability in Tamil to effectively engage with factory staff.
- Proven performance history backed by strong, reliable professional references.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and an innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Proficient in operational reporting, data presentation, and clear communication of performance metrics.
- Preferred age: Below 35 years.
