Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL), a subsidiary of the Bank of Ceylon, is a dynamic and fast-growing financial institution committed to delivering innovative financial solutions to individuals and businesses. We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented professional to join our team as Junior Executive – Write-off Recovery & Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing write-off accounts, maintaining customer relationships, handling related documentation and correspondence, and supporting recovery initiatives to maximise portfolio performance.

Who We're Looking For

  • Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level with 01 years' experience.
  • A diploma or professional qualification in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Tamil is essential.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Possession of a valid riding/driving licence will be an added advantage.
  • Age Limit: 30 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the write-off customer portfolio and conduct customer visits when required.
  • Handle correspondence related to write-off facilities.
  • Prepare letters, memos, Board papers, and other documentation pertaining to write-off facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records and support the administration of write-off accounts.
  • Perform other duties assigned within the Write-off Unit.
