Assistant Engineer - Mechanical
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities across company branches and facilities.
- Plan, monitor, and execute, repair, and improvement projects.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement energy-saving and energy-efficiency projects to reduce operational costs and carbon footprint.
- Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, fuel, etc.) and prepare periodic energy performance reports.
- Assist in conducting energy audits, environmental assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards during project execution.
Qualifications:
- B.Eng. (Hons) Degree in Mechanical/Electrical from a recognized university, or an equivalent qualification. (NDT/HNDE or a similar higher diploma with relevant experience will also be considered.)
- Minimum 02 years' experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and engineering-related software.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Age below 35 years is preferred.
