SLIM's business functions span across education, advocacy, membership, training, research, SME development, promoting entrepreneurship, sustainability initiatives, and national-level events such as the Brand Excellence Awards, People’s Awards, National Sales Awards, Effie Awards, and SLIM DIGIS Awards. SLIM is a board member of the Asian Marketing Federation, which has a membership of 17 Asian countries and is affiliated with the World Marketing Association.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare accurate, timely and comprehensive financial statements, reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage internal audits and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and business growth.
Personal Profile
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CA.
- 3 years minimum experience as a Head of Finance in a reputed organization
- Prior experience in working in ERP systems and computer literacy
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Age below 45.
