POST OF IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
POSITION SUMMARY
House of Fashions is seeking dynamic and technically skilled professionals to join our IT team. The selected candidates will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure across head office, retail outlets and Warehouse. These roles are critical to ensuring smooth operations of retail systems, POS terminals, networks, servers, and security systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain:
- Windows 7/10/11 operating systems
- Windows Server (2008 R2/2016/2019)
- Retail POS systems and inventory software
- Manage and monitor LAN/WAN networks, routing/switching, VPN, Firewall, PABX, and CCTV systems
- Ensure smooth functioning of POS terminals with minimal downtime
- Maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and network hardware
- Monitor system logs, backups, and overall IT infrastructure health
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Implement and monitor IT security measures (firewalls, encryption, VPNs)
- Perform regular updates, patches, and system upgrades
- Provide technical support to staff across retail outlets
- Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and compliance records
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role (Retail experience preferred)
- HND/Diploma or Degree in IT, Network Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in POS, and inventory systems
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and firewall management
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V) is an advantage
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and cloud technologies
- Knowledge of MS SQL/database management will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Crystal Report development is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
