Financial Controller

Role Profile
- Lead financial accounting, reporting, and month-end/year-end closing in accordance with IFRS/SLFRS
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, variance analysis and performance reporting across business units
- Manage treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking relationships, borrowings and working capital optimization
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment controls
- Drive cost control, profitability improvement and operational efficiency across the Group, including inventory management
- Strengthen internal control systems, financial policies, compliance frameworks and governance practices
- Drive effective implementation and continuous improvement of ERP financial modules and reporting systems
Personal Profile
- Qualifications: Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Sri Lanka or equivalent professional qualification) with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized institute
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting, including at least 5 years in a senior finance management role, with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, financial planning and performance management. Experience in apparel, manufacturing, hospitality, industrial catering, or multi-unit operations will be an advantage
- Age: 35–50 years
- Strong command of IFRS/SLFRS, Sri Lankan taxation, statutory compliance, treasury and working capital management
- Proficient in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong leadership, analytical, commercial and stakeholder management capabilities
- High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to financial detail; proven experience driving change management, process improvement and finance transformation initiatives
