Job Summary: We’re looking for a Cashier to join our restaurant team and be an important part of creating a smooth and positive experience for our guests.
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring all billing activities are completed efficiently and accurately whilst assisting guests with billing-related queries and work closely with the restaurant team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process guest bills and payments.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist guests with billing and payment-related queries.
- Maintain proper cash handling and end-of-shift procedures.
- Coordinate with the service and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and welcoming attitude towards guests.
- Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and financial controls.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cashier or restaurant role is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic mathematical/ finance skills.
- Great time management and problem solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Honest, responsible, and well organized.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
