Career Opportunities: Finance Department
Unitum Chemicals (Pvt) Ltd, a pioneer in the manufacturing and distribution of calcium carbonate-based products and dairy products importer, is seeking a dynamic, disciplined and focused individual to join the team as Accountant, to be based in Head Office in Colombo and will be reporting to Group Head of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly Accounting and presentation of Financial Statements
- Liaising with Auditors, Regulators
- Forecasting, Costing & Pricing and Treasury Support.
- Responsibility in making Company payments in line with SOPs and Management guidelines.
- Maintain strict internal controls
- Cashflow Management
- Oversee Internal Financial Controls at production facilities
Qualifications and experiences
- Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 10 years work experience of which 3 years in the capacity of an Accountant in a commercial establishment.
- Experience in Manufacturing environment is a plus
- Exposure to Tally or any other accounting system.

- Willingness to travel between Company locations depending on operational requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication
- Team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work extended hours if required
