We are a public quoted company with multinational connections and Sri Lanka's premier manufacturer of high-quality aluminium extrusions.
Our group of companies offers a wide range of products, including steel roofing, MDF boards, steel & aluminium builders' hardware, and various other construction-related items.
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced accountant to strengthen our audit, control and compliance functions.
ACCOUNTS & AUDIT EXECUTIVE
Key Requirements:
- Accountant/Auditor with intermediate qualifications in CA (ICA), CIMA or ACCA, or full qualification in AAT or equivalent.
- 2–3 years' auditing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in auditing, establishing good practices, developing procedures and strengthening internal control systems.
- Ability to independently prepare audit plans and conduct audits at showrooms, factory and other company locations.
- Competent in computerized accounting systems; exposure to Tally would be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Ability to take responsibility, exercise initiative and solve problems effectively.
- A good team player, capable of interacting effectively with colleagues, management and other internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to travel regularly to showrooms and the factory.
- Ideally between 30–40 years of age.
