DEBTORS MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE / CREDIT CONTROL EXECUTIVE (US MARKET)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support the Debtors management for our US-based client portfolio. Also include invoice tracking, payment follow-ups, and ledger reconciliations while maintaining strong client relationships across USA customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekly follow-up via digital channels with US-based clients, ensuring timely cash flow based on US business standards.
- Perform debtor reconciliations, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate ledger records.
- Collaborate with internal finance and operations teams to streamline collection workflows.
- Generate weekly and monthly aging reports for senior management review.
- Conduct reporting meetings on debtors age and collection progress via digital communication media.
- Evaluate debtors risk based on Accounts Receivable Standard Reporting Procedure (SOP)
Other Requirements
- Part-qualified in CIMA, ACCA, CA Sri Lanka or a related degree in Accounting/Finance/Management in a reputed university.
- Familiarity with US GAAP is a definite value addition.
- Prior experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or US accounting processes is highly advantageous.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills suitable for engaging with US clients.
- Working hours - Based on Sri Lankan standard timelines. But you are required to be in line with US time zones on a case-by-case basis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Working and communication in a digital environment.
