MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY
HEALTHCARE SECTOR

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- G.C.E. Advanced Level or equivalent qualification.
- A recognized qualification in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in a medical, hospital, or healthcare administrative environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide efficient administrative and secretarial support to medical consultants, doctors, and relevant clinical departments.
- Manage appointments, schedules, meetings, and correspondence.
- Prepare, maintain, and organize medical and administrative documents and records.
- Coordinate communication between medical staff, patients, hospital departments, and external parties.
- Prepare letters, reports, presentations, minutes, and other official documents.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure the secure handling of patient and hospital information.
- Assist with patient inquiries and provide accurate information in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are readily accessible when required.
- Perform any other administrative duties assigned by the hospital management.
