EXECUTIVE QUALITY ASSURANCE
American Premium Water, the pioneer and market leader in Sri Lanka's bottled water industry, is looking for a passionate and driven individual to join the team immediately as Executive - Quality Assurance. With a workforce of over 1,200 and a growing presence in both Sri Lanka and India, the company also has operations in Logistics, Construction, and Polymer Packaging.
Responsibilities
- System Management: Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the QMS to ensure rigorous adherence to ISO 9001 and SLS regulatory standards.
- Complaint Resolution: Investigate customer complaints and quality deviations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA methodologies. Conduct on-site visits to customer locations to resolve issues effectively and professionally.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA/QC professionals, fostering a proactive culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee the full QA/QC lifecycle—from incoming materials to in-process production, bottling, and packaging—ensuring strict SOP compliance and meticulous documentation.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Maintain a comprehensive customer complaint log with real-time status updates. Analyze complaint trends and present actionable insights and performance results to senior management.
- Quality Control: Monitor and report outgoing inspection results to drive quality improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a QA/QC role, preferably within the Bottled Water, F&B, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance. Certified Lead Auditor status is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with decisive decision-making skills. Must possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
