Executive - Commercial & Marketing
We are expanding our team to meet the growing volume of maritime inquiries and are looking for a proactive and commercially driven individual to join our Commercial & Marketing team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with international maritime clients, handling end-to-end commercial coordination for vessels calling at Sri Lankan ports.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inquiries from ship owners, charterers, ship managers, and agents.
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations in coordination with internal teams.
- Follow up and convert inquiries into confirmed business opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, operations, and logistics teams.
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and service excellence.
- Support overall commercial and marketing functions, ensuring smooth operations and continuity.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 Experience in commercial, sales, or marketing roles (shipping / logistics / marine preferred).
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
- Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Basic understanding of marine / shipping / port operations is an advantage.
- High level of responsibility, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on vessel schedules.
