PROJECT MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced, organized and results-driven Project Manager to join our growing residential housing construction team in Malabe

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage residential construction projects from planning through to final handover
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project
  • Develop, implement and maintain construction method statements
  • Plan and manage labor allocation according to project requirements and work programmes
  • Coordinate site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
  • Monitor project progress, milestones, productivity and deadlines
  • Ensure construction is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and quality standards
  • Conduct and maintain quality inspection records, checklists and relevant QA/QC documentation
  • Monitor material requirements, usage and wastage
  • Monitor project costs and ensure work is completed within the approved budget
  • Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical and construction-related issues
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and update management on project status
  • Maintain proper project documentation, records and approvals
  • Coordinate inspections, snagging and rectification works
  • Prepare and maintain project completion, as-built and handover documents
  • Coordinate the final client handover and project close-out
  • Ensure health, safety and good housekeeping standards are maintained at all project sites

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in residential construction project management
  • Strong proficiency in MS Project – Essential
  • Experience in preparing method statements and construction programmes
  • Experience in labor planning and allocation
  • Good understanding of quality control and inspection documentation
  • Experience with project completion and handover documentation
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and site coordination
  • Excellent leadership, communication, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and meet strict project deadlines
  • Valid driving license will be an added advantage
