Market Access Manager Healthcare - Tender

Role Brief

The role oversees government tender management and market access within the healthcare sector, ensuring timely submissions, stakeholder coordination, compliance, business reporting, and effective receivables collection from government institutions.

Competencies

  • Degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 03-05 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with significant exposure to market access, tender management, government sector business, or institutional sales.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical tenders, procurement, and healthcare practices.
  • Experience with SPC, MSD, government hospitals, and healthcare institutions.
  • Skills in negotiations, contract management, collections, and reporting.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business reporting tools.
  • Self-driven, ethical, organized, and commercially focused.

Scope & Responsibilities

  • Lead government tender activities, ensuring timely submission, compliance, and contract execution.
  • Develop market access strategies to improve product availability and business growth.
  • Liaise with SPC, MSD, Ministry of Health, government hospitals, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, market analyses, and management updates.
  • Manage receivables by monitoring balances and following up with government institutions.
