Interior & Joinery Designer / Coordinator
SPECIALISING IN FURNITURE & JOINERY
Join our team and be part of a creative studio delivering bespoke interiors, furniture and joinery from concept to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take accurate site measurements for furniture and joinery items
- Prepare and coordinate measurement drawings and site information
- Liaise with the design team to clarify design intent and technical requirements
- Coordinate drawings, specifications and samples between the studio, factory and site
- Follow up with factories on production, timelines and quality
- Conduct regular factory visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Conduct site visits to oversee deliveries and installations
- Work closely with the Production Manager, providing regular updates and reports on project status, production and site activities
- Track and maintain schedules, revisions and documentation
- Identify and resolve site and factory issues in a timely manner
- Ensure furniture and joinery are manufactured and installed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
- Support the wider interior design team across projects as required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Experience in interior design, furniture or joinery coordination (design background advantageous)
- Strong technical understanding of furniture and joinery
- Good measuring, documentation and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable working between the studio, factory and site
- A proactive, detail-oriented and solutions-driven approach
