PROJECT MANAGER – INFORMATICS AGROTECH
We are looking for a Project Manager to join AgroTech and take responsibility for planning, coordinating and delivering a range of projects across the company. This is a Colombo based role, with occasional travel to outstation locations depending on project requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders and leadership to ensure projects are delivered effectively on time and within agreed objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, execute, and manage various Agriculture based projects across our plantation and agriculture operations from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate closely with the Colombo based leadership team, providing regular progress updates and escalating risks as needed.
- Conduct occasional visits to outstation plantations/estates to monitor on ground project execution.
- Develop and submit timely reports and analytics on project performance, timelines and outcomes, ensuring reporting deadlines are consistently met.
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to leadership on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with cross functional and outstation teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to more efficient project delivery.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and resource plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Science, or a related field.
- Preferably 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
- MNC (multinational company) experience is preferred.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership.
