We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee, Food & Beverage to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing friendly and efficient food and beverage service to guests.
- Support daily operations across restaurants, bars, and events.
- Prepare service areas, tables, equipment, and supplies as required.
- Take guest orders and assist with serving food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout service areas.
- Respond to guest requests and provide assistance in a professional manner.
- Learn and follow departmental procedures, service standards, and safety guidelines.
Skills & Experience:
- Diploma or relevant educational qualification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Good grooming and a strong service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
