UK Accounts and Tax Consultant
We are a management Consulting and accounting practice providing services to clients based in the UK and EU. We a an ACCA Approved Employer Trainee Development Platinum, CIMA Premier Partner and ICAEW accredited training
We are expanding our team in the Colombo office and are looking for a management consultant. We are looking for an ACCA / CIMA-qualified or partly qualified consultant with at least two years prior experience to start immediately.
Training and Responsibilities
- Accounts preparation under FRS102 and FRS 105. Taxcal experience is an added advantage
- High-level bookkeeping knowledge with efficient experience in payables and receivables. Using AI automation.
- Preparing self-assessments, VAT returns, pension reports, MTD for SA payroll for individuals and companies in the UK.
- Preparing management consulting presentation and corporate reports.
- Preparation of tax reports, technical articles, and research papers.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and cash flows.
- Practice management skills using Engager App.
- Software certifications include Xero, QB, Taxcal, Bright Pay and Power BI.
- Preparation of management reports and Internal control reports.
- Certifications Such as ISO 27001 and Cybersecurity.
- Ideal candidates will be supported in completing the UK Chartered Tax Exams conducted by CIOT to become the first Sri Lankan to do so.
- Candidates who are successful in completing our training process might be eligible to travel to the UK or abroad. At the discretion of the management.
Skills and Qualifications
- ACCA / CIMA member or part-qualified in ACCA/CIMA
- If qualified, they should have completed Advanced Taxation (ATX). If part-qualified, they must be willing to attempt and complete Advanced Taxation (ATX).
- Ability to adapt and learn in a new environment and work under pressure while meeting deadlines, and be a strong team player.
- The ideal candidate might travel to the UK or abroad for training and work if selected.
- Must have a strong work ethic and adhere to the IFAC and ACCA codes of conduct.
- Strong communication skills in English (Verbal and written) and IT skills are expected.
- Skills and Knowledge in social media and digital marketing strategy.
Location - Colombo / Hybrid
Working Hours - Mon – Fri (UK working Hours)
