The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Sri Lanka (Inc.), the leader in Human Resource Management, is rapidly expanding to meet the current and emerging demands of the HR profession. We are looking for a qualified candidate with a dynamic and outgoing personality who can deliver positive results in the role of Senior Executive - IT
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services, email systems, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Coordinate website administration, content updates, and technical support for online platforms and events.
- Monitor and maintain CCTV systems, access control systems, and backup storage solutions.
- Administer LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement and monitor data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related services, hardware, and software procurement.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and quality management requirements.
- Support ISO compliance activities and participate in internal and external audits.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system records, and user guides.
- Assist the Manager IT in implementing IT projects, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology, including experience in network administration, systems support, or IT operations.
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, ITIL, or related certifications will be an added advantage.
- Experience in managing Microsoft 365 environments, servers, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Sound knowledge of database management, cloud technologies, and IT security best practices.
Remuneration for the above position is negotiated and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
