PRODUCTION SUPPLY SPECIALIST FINISHED GOODS
Getting a product manufactured is one problem. Making sure the right materials are in the right factory at the right time, season after season, is a different one. Thats this role.
Our client is the regional production arm of a global sportswear brand, working with Sri Lankan manufacturers to produce products sold worldwide. Theyre hiring a Supply Specialist to own component supply and production planning for finished goods keeping factories supplied, capacity booked, and orders delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and secure component availability so finished goods production runs without interruption
- Manage stock levels of components nough to protect production, not so much that it ties up cost
- Forecast and book production capacity across suppliers, from long-range planning through to weekly execution
- Own order pricing accuracy and on-time delivery performance
- Work with suppliers to build up their own planning capability and reduce dependence on your team
- Find and fix the bottlenecks that slow the supply chain down
Personal Profile
- A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Around 2 years in apparel as a bulk merchandiser, planner, or in logistics
- Solid understanding of critical paths, production timelines, and capacity planning
- Confidence communicating in English with suppliers and international teams
- The analytical instinct to work from data rather than assumptions
- SAP experience is an advantage, not a requirement
- Genuine interest in sport and an active lifestyle
