Creative Content Producer / Video Editor
Turn deep, verified research into scroll-stopping short-form video, in Sinhala & English. We're an independent, IFCN-signatory fact-checking newsroom and Meta third-party fact-checking partner.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Produce & edit short-form video for Reels, TikTok & YouTube Shorts
- Edit interviews, podcasts, green-screen & studio pieces
- Adapt content across formats and both languages
- Turn fact-checks into clear, engaging stories with strong hooks
- Use AI-assisted tools responsibly, without losing accuracy
- Read performance metrics & refine the next piece
What we're looking for
- A portfolio of short-form or related work
- Strong editing with real instinct for pacing
- Fluent Sinhala storytelling; solid English
- Comfort using AI tools responsibly
Bonus points
- Camera & production experience
- Motion graphics, sound design or subtitling
- Interest in news, media literacy or fact-checking
- Campaign planning / paid-ad optimisation
