Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller (Female preferred) to join our team in Borella. The role is responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring accurate records, and supporting smooth operational flow across outlets and central storage.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Conduct routine stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO and other inventory control practices.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for timely replenishment.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Issue materials to operational teams as per requisitions.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate stock valuation and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in storekeeping or inventory management (preferably in hospitality or retail).
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling standards will be an added advantage.
