Join us and lead our culinary team toward creating exceptional dinning experiences in Colombo.
We are looking for a passionate, creative and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee the complete food & beverage kitchen operations of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations across the hotel.
- Develop innovative menus while maintaining high culinary standards.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, taste and hygiene.
- Manage, train, motivate and develop the culinary team.
- Control food costs, wastage, inventory and kitchen budgets.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety and hotel hygiene standards.
- Plan and execute banquets, events, buffets and special culinary promotions.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and maintain quality purchasing standards.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Minimum of 8 – 10 years of professional culinary experience, with proven experience in an Executive Chef.
- Previous experience in a 5 star city hotel or luxury hospitality environment is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational and cost control skills.
- Excellent knowledge of international and local cuisines.
- Creative approach to menu development and food presentation.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and lead a large, diverse culinary team.
- Relevant culinary qualifications will be an advantage.
