Production Merchandiser
Position Objective
To ensure all activities from quoting delivery dates, to proper handover is carried out in effective manner in order to meet business objective and customer satisfaction through high level of service.
Job Responsibilities
- Agree & manage critical paths with fabric mills / factories & ensure the key dates are met.
- Timely communication with UK teams & suppliers.
- Liaise with internal development & technical team to ensure the order is processed smoothly.
- Follow up shipment status with factories & push for deliveries on time.
- Conduct weekly progress meetings with factories & fabric mills
- Liability management.
- Maintain the system with accurate details.
- Raise development exceptions that affect the critical path directly with Controller & Manager.
- Ensure the high risk files are updated on a weekly basis.
- Visit factories, fabric mills, embellishment plants on a regular basis in order to build and maintain relationships them.
Position Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience as an Assistant Production Merchandiser / Production Merchandiser.
- In-depth knowledge of apparel industry and production, including vendors, products, features, benefits, etc.
- A degree or a diploma in relevant field or any other recognized qualification.
- Previous experience in working for a multi cultured environment will be an added advantage.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English communication skill is a necessity.
- Outstanding client relationship management and negotiation skills
- Outgoing personality with good leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using systems such as MS Office and Gmail.
