Fire Officer / Trainee Fire Officer
Colombo Dockyard PLC, Sri Lanka's premier shipbuilding and ship repair Company, invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic individuals to join the Risk Assessment & Control Department as a Fire Officer or Trainee Fire Officer.

Position Requirements:
Fire Officer
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Science from a recognized university.
- A recognized professional qualification or certificate in Fire Safety, Fire Engineering, Fire Science, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized institution will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience as a Fire Officer or in a similar fire safety role.
Trainee Fire Officer
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Science from a recognized university.
- Applicants who are willing to pursue recognized professional qualifications in Fire Safety or Fire Engineering while undergoing training are encouraged to apply.
Employment Terms
- Applicants possessing the required professional fire qualifications and relevant experience will be considered for appointment as Fire Officer initially on a one-year contract basis.
- Applicants who possess the required academic qualification but do not have the necessary professional fire qualification or relevant experience may be appointed as Trainee Fire Officer for a one-year training period.
Remuneration
