Manager - Imports

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end to end Import & LC processes
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, banks, freight forwarders & clearing agents
- Drive RMA claim recovery & settlement
- Maintain 95%+ spare-parts availability
- Optimize slow-moving, obsolete & excess inventory
- Ensure inventory remains within the approved LKR 250 Mn ceiling
- Improve spare-parts identification and reduce product replacements
- Prepare and monitor monthly import & inventory performance reports
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
- Professional qualification in Supply Chain / Logistics / Imports & Exports Procurement is an advantage
- Minimum 7 years' relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial/team-leadership role
- Strong hands-on experience in LCs, imports, shipping, customs clearance & banking coordination
- Experience managing overseas suppliers, RMA claims & high-value inventory
- Advanced MS Excel & ERP knowledge
