Responsibilities
- Design company policies and ensure all HR procedures strictly comply with local and national labor regulations.
- Lead talent sourcing & pipeline development by designing and executing effective sourcing strategies to attracts diverse talent pool for all level roles, ensuring a strong and sustainable talent pipeline
- Co-ordinate with all Universities and other professional institutes in acquiring young talents to the organization.
- Strengthening Staff Retention by implementing retention strategies conducting root causes analysis on absenteeism, managing grievances and building strong stakeholder relationship.
- Discussing career development paths of the employee with functional managers
- Attending and representing Labour Department related work.
- Make sure that the addresses the employees' issues, requests, and grievances in a timely manner.
- Handing preliminary investigation on disciplinary inquiries and updating on such situation.
- Manage performance appraisal systems alongside competitive compensation and benefits frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or Professional Qualification in Human Resources from a recognized Institute (CIPM) / Master Degree in Human Resources or Administration.
- 10- 15 years progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years’ similar capacity.
- Proven Leadership, people management and strategic HR planning.
- Ability to foster healthy employee relations
- Strong problem-solving and decision – making capabilities.
- Excellent in communication skills both Sinhala and English.
- Excellent Computer Literacy and familiarity with HRIS system.
