CoopLife Insurance Limited is seeking an experienced and highly competent Manager - Internal Audit to lead the Company's internal audit function and provide independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance processes.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute risk-based internal audit plans
- Conduct audits of business operations, financial processes, systems and internal controls
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend appropriate corrective actions
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to senior management and relevant committees
- Monitor the implementation of agreed audit recommendations
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures
- Support the organisation in strengthening its governance, risk management and control environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Fully/partly qualified in CA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of internal audit practices, risk management, corporate governance and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, report-writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professional integrity.
- Willingness to travel branches islandwide.
