The Sourcing Collective provides architectural, BIM and digital delivery support to Architects, Interior Designers and Contractors across the UK and international. We work on projects ranging from hospitality resorts and workplace interiors to residential developments, modular construction and large commercial buildings. Our work spans all RIBA stages and involves direct collaboration with international project teams.

Role Overview
We are hiring BIM/Architectural Technicians to work on exciting international design projects on a freelance or consultant basis, with renewal subject to mutual agreement. You will be part of a dynamic studio environment, supporting our team in delivering high-quality architectural and BIM outputs. This role offers the opportunity to work directly on projects, develop advanced BIM and digital delivery skills, and grow into BIM coordination, project leadership or specialist technical roles over time.
Essential requirements
- 2+ years' experience using Autodesk Revit on design and construction projects for model authoring, information management and construction documentation.
- Good knowledge of creating and modifying Revit families.
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to Revit/BIM models and supporting other team members on Revit software and BIM modelling techniques.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
- Able to work from our office location in Colombo 05. Remote or hybrid work options are not offered for this role.
Beneficial requirements
- Experience working with an international design consultancy or in a local architectural or engineering production environment.
- Effective skills in meeting deadlines and managing workload.
- Previous experience with BIM projects, BEPs and understanding of international standards such as ISO 19650.
- Hands-on experience in Autodesk Navisworks, Dynamo, BIM Collaborate Pro, rendering software or other BIM tools is desirable but not essential.
