RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-operate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs and accommodations in Sri Lanka
- Plan and sell transportation, accommodation, tour packages etc.
- Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc.) to travelers
- Arrange promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itineraries tour packages
- Prepare tour costing and maintaining statistical records
- Negotiate rate structures with Industry partners – local and international
- Preparation of invoices and collect payments through credit cards/cash upon arrival of clients
- Follow up on final tax invoices from hotels etc. and forward to Accounts department
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
- Freshers can apply
- Age below 30 years.
- Ability to handle a foreign customer base will be an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: GCE A/L or Diploma.
- Strong knowledge of fleet tours and regulatory requirements.
- Strong coordination of communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong skills in handling the Indian market will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and email tools.
