ASSISTANT PHARMACIST
HEALTHCARE SECTOR
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic individual who would like to take on challenges and join with our winning team.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Age below 35 years.
- Registered in Sri Lanka Medical Council for the external pharmacy examination.
- Ability to dispense medicines under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a Hospital or Community Pharmacy.
- Good knowledge in pharmacy practices.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Good computer literacy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, dispense, pack, and label medicines accurately according to prescriptions.
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and medication-related activities.
- Manage pharmacy stock, including receiving, proper storage, stock rotation, expiry monitoring, and replenishment.
- Maintain accurate patient, dispensing, and inventory records while ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Provide appropriate guidance to patients regarding medication use under pharmacist supervision.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines in compliance with safety, hospital, and regulatory requirements.
