Stores Coordinator
Overview
Best Auto International (Pvt) Ltd is an importer and distributor of automotive spare parts, with a strong focus on European vehicles. We are looking for a dynamic and organized Stores Coordinator to support our sales and operations teams in delivering excellent customer service and efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations and process sales orders.
- Coordinate with the sales team, stores and accounts to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Check stock availability and reserve items for confirmed orders.
- Arrange pick-up or deliveries and prepare delivery orders (DO).
- Maintain accurate records of orders, stock movements and customer information.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve order or stock related issues.
- Support physical stock taking and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the stores function.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role (stores coordination, inventory coordination or related field).
- Experience in the automotive spare parts industry will be an advantage.
- Diploma / NVQ / Certificate in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Automotive or a related field will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Computer literacy MS Office and preferably an ERP/inventory system.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
