MEDICAL OFFICERS
HEALTHCARE SECTOR

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- MBBS/MD qualified with SLMC registration.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Medical & Surgery
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work longer hours according to the requirement.
- Good communication & leadership skills.
- Being confident and focused.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing safe, high-quality medical care.
- Monitoring patients' progress and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Collaborating with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Communicating effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Following infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance protocols.
- Participating in clinical audits, continuing medical education, and training activities.
- Adhering to the ethical and professional standards set by the hospital and the Sri Lanka Medical Council.
