Project Supervisor
ELV, AV & Smart Home Installations

You run the site – crews, cabling, installation and commissioning – and make sure what was designed is what actually gets built, safely and on programme.

What you'll do
- Site execution. Run daily installation on your sites – CCTV, access control, networks, AV and smart home.
- Crews. Direct technicians and subcontractors, set daily targets, and keep the work moving.
- Build to drawing. Install to the issued drawings and specification; flag anything that cannot be built as drawn.
- Workmanship. Cable routing, containment, terminations and labelling done properly the first time.
- Testing and snagging. Test, record the results, and close out snags before handover.
- Site records. Daily progress, manpower, materials and site instructions, reported to the project engineer.
- Safety and conduct. Safe working, tidy sites, and professional dealings with clients and contractors.
What we're looking for
- NVQ, City & Guilds or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic or Telecommunication – or an equivalent trade qualification.
- 2–4 years supervising ELV, electrical, IT network or AV installations on site.
- Able to work from drawings and mark up as-built accurately.
- Hands-on with structured cabling, terminations, testing and fault finding.
- Comfortable reporting daily in writing – basic Excel and clear written updates.
- Valid driving licence and willing to travel to sites island-wide.
- A PLUS: CCTV, access control, intercom, PA or smart home commissioning; fibre splicing; working at height and safety training; experience supervising subcontractors; good spoken English.
